Novvia: how many users, exactly, from HR?

    Sizes the first sign-in rollout.

  • #17may know: Kyleadded 2026-10-13

Novvia: how do their roles map to our four levels? Is a plant manager a GM or a supervisor, and who is VP-level?

Decides what each person sees the day they first sign in.

  • #18may know: Kyleadded 2026-10-13

Novvia: who are the admins, and does IT or safety own that role?

The admin approves who can sign in.

  • #19may know: Kyleadded 2026-10-13

Novvia: which OneLogin details can they send us? Email at minimum; plant and job title would pre-fill most approvals.

More details sent means fewer approvals done by hand.

  • #20may know: Kyleadded 2026-10-13

Novvia: which HR roster export covers plants, people and operators, with which fields, and how often?

It is how people and operators reach SCOPE and stay current.

  • #21may know: Kyleadded 2026-10-13

Novvia: one OneLogin group for SCOPE, or one per plant?

Decides how access is granted and removed.

  • #22may know: Kyleadded 2026-10-13

Novvia: how long should the access log be kept, and do they want it sent to their security monitoring?

Sets what we store and for how long.

  • #23may know: Kyleadded 2026-10-13

Novvia: will users open SCOPE from the OneLogin portal?

    Changes how sign-in starts.

  • #24may know: Kyleadded 2026-10-13

Novvia: where do they need people's names and emails to be stored, for their own review?

    Their security review will ask.

  • #25may know: Kyleadded 2026-10-13

Novvia IT and Patrick: how should Intune mark a shared iPad as trusted?

A one-time code works with the app as hosted today; a device certificate needs a front end Vercel does not provide.

  • #26may know: Kyleadded 2026-10-13

Novvia IT: are the tablets supervised (Apple Business Manager) and locked to one app?

Decides how a shared tablet is set up and trusted.

  • #27may know: Patrickadded 2026-10-13

When will client hosting be decided, and which login platform will client deployments use?

The last sign-in steps wait on this.

  • #28may know: Patrickadded 2026-10-13

Will the app keep the database deciding who sees what, and will it connect as one service login or as each user?

Today the browser talks to the database directly and every rule is enforced there.

  • #29may know: Patrickadded 2026-10-13

Where will files (photos, documents) be stored?

File access rules are written against today's storage.

  • #30may know: Patrickadded 2026-10-13

How should a revoked session end on his stack, given offline inspections and shared tablets?

A queued inspection may upload after its driver has signed out.

  • #31may know: Patrickadded 2026-10-13

Will OneLogin be able to reach the account-sync endpoint if the app is private, and does it live with the screens or separately?

Automatic account creation and removal depends on it.

  • #32may know: Patrickadded 2026-10-13

What does he need from us for Novvia's security documentation?

The write-up is his or Novvia's; we supply the facts.

Are the tablets Android (Galaxy Tab, Zebra, Honeywell) or iOS?

Android does background sync and stable offline storage; iPad only uploads when the app is open and can evict stored data. Decides whether Expo stays on the roadmap.

Can we borrow one real tablet of the type drivers would use, for an offline test in a yard with no signal?

The offline DVIR is verified on desktop only. Simulators hide the real failure modes.

  • #3may know: Kyleadded 2026-09-08

How are drivers identified today: badge number, username, employee number? What is the most common sign-in format they already use?

Picks PIN vs badge vs username login on a shared tablet. Every DVIR signature (driver, mechanic, driver) must record who signed.

  • #4may know: Pauladded 2026-09-08

Should a driver see the investigation of their own incident (root cause, corrective action summary), or only what they reported?

The demo narration says no. The database currently returns the whole row. Needs a driver-facing view if the answer is no.

  • #5may know: Kyleadded 2026-09-08

Who takes incident photos in the field, the driver at the scene or the supervisor afterwards?

Decides whether photo upload must work offline on the driver capture screen or can stay online-only on the investigation screen.

  • #6may know: Kyleadded 2026-09-08

Are tablets collected from an office before going into the yard, or permanently mounted in the trucks?

Office pickup means a sign-out moment with signal and a natural place to sync and install. Truck-mounted means the device may never see wifi, and one tablet follows one asset.

  • #7may know: Kyleadded 2026-09-08

Do drivers use their own phones instead of tablets, or alongside them?

Phone means the 390px layout becomes primary, personal devices cannot be pre-installed by IT, and login is per person rather than per shift.

  • #8may know: Kyleadded 2026-09-08

Is cell or wifi signal normally available where the driver picks up the tablet and does the pre-trip DVIR, before leaving on the route?

Sign-in needs signal; everything after that works offline. A driver who has signed in on that tablet before can reuse the stored session, but the first sign-in of a driver on a device needs a connection. If the yard has no signal at departure, sign-in has to happen at the office or the previous day.

Is SCOPE ever meant to ingest route/ops data (lifts per hour, stops, service exceptions), or does it stay safety-only?

The driver-dashboard reference tile shows lifts per hour and service exceptions. Neither exists in the data set, and both are route-productivity metrics that normally live in the hauling system, not a safety platform. A no means those tiles become safety KPIs computed from real rows; a yes means a new entity, a generator change and a regeneration. See "Driver dashboard KPIs" in docs/todo.md.

  • #10may know: Wesadded 2026-09-10

Which examples do you want walked through on the 28th, named case by case: which driver, which incident, which site, which policy conflict?

Every example has to be a real row in the frozen data set; that is the demo's main claim. Three storylines are already planted: Castleton degrading, Wallingford best-in-class, five repeat-offender drivers (data/README.md, "Planted storylines"). Anything outside those has to be written into the data first: generator change, full regeneration and the verification suites. Late notice is what makes it expensive.

  • #11may know: Wesadded 2026-09-16

What should the front page say and look like: which mark, what name, what does the button say?

It is the first screen of every demo, and every word and mark on it is our own placeholder.

  • #12may know: Wesadded 2026-09-16

Write down the first ten questions you would type into a free-form "ask the data" box, in your own words. Same from Paul and Kyle.

The box can only answer questions we have built and tested an answer for. Building that list from our guesses is how it ends up answering questions nobody asks. Their wording is also what the router is trained and measured against.

  • #13may know: Pauladded 2026-09-16

When a question cannot be answered exactly, do you want the nearest thing we can defend, or nothing at all?

Decides the refusal design. "What costs correlate to late observations?" has no honest answer at ten sites, but both series can be shown side by side. One of those is useful and one is a fabricated number.

  • #14may know: Wesadded 2026-09-16

Will a number SCOPE produces ever be quoted outside the business: an insurer submission, a board pack, a deposition?

Decides how hard the audit trail has to be. If yes, every answer needs the question, the query, the rows and the timestamp kept permanently, and no answer may ever imply causation.

  • #15may know: Kyleadded 2026-09-25

To fill the empty space on the COFI P&L: would a side-by-side of every site (revenue, gross margin, EBITDA) work, with the District filter narrowing it to one?

Decides what goes in the space; the District filter is already on the page.
